Kindergarten Program

Studies show that children who participate in quality kindergarten programs have an opportunity to build relationships, develop skills, and learn each and every day. Quality kindergarten programs assist in preparing children to transition more easily to school and perform more successfully. Our emergent curriculum is designed to inspire delight, curiosity, and inquiry in the classroom where children actively engage in hands-on investigation and learning experiences. In fostering the unique capabilities of each child, we create a life-long love of learning that will support your child as they make their transition to school.

Victorian Kindergarten Programs

In Victoria our Kindergarten Educational programs are designed and delivered by a Bachelor Trained Early Childhood Teacher who uses a combination of the Early Years Learning Framework, as well as the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
Our educational programs and classroom routines allow the children to become independent learners through combined teaching styles. We believe children learn through play, and we use their play and interests to build upon intentional teaching moments. We believe children learn through many different ways so we will adapt our teaching styles to cater for your children.

Our aim for your child is to have a sense of identity, connecting and contributing to their community, a strong sense of wellbeing, to be involved learners and to effectively communicate in today’s world.
Our school readiness program is aimed to teach children the skills and knowledge they need for their first year of school. Through networking with our local schools we are able to meet the expectation and communicate our shared knowledge through Transition to School statements. In partnership with families we are able to collaborate and discuss your child’s learning and development to ensure school readiness is achieved.

Please speak with your Centre Director for more information about the Centres Kindergarten program, hours of operation and the daily fee.
